2026 Life Logs, Day 35: Meeting, Canvassing, More Meetings

This life of mine just keeps getting busier and busier, with little to no time to attend to personal issues. I am in meetings, on Zoom meetings, or preparing for meetings constantly. And today I added business canvassing for the Falmouth Immigrants Rights Coalition to the list. This canvassing involves going to businesses in town and offering a folder full of materials to help business owners, managers, and employees know their rights and know what to do if ICE should enter their premises. The goal is to make sure we have personally contacted every business in town. I believe at least 250 businesses have already been contacted and today Christina Brodie and I checked off 18 more. Then it was home to play outside with Shadow and get ready for two more Zoom meetings tonight. After those meetings, I got a call from a good friend I haven’t talk to for ages, and we spent time discussing the world’s problems. Tomorrow I have meetings all morning, but my afternoon looks free (yippee) until 6:30 pm when the Zoom meetings begin again. And on Friday, my only meeting is with a friend for lunch. I am looking forward to that!
