Day 91, Year 9: Focus on the Patriots

Weather: Partly Cloudy and Very Windy, Temp in the 30’s but Felt Much Colder
Location: Brewer Fiddler’s Cove Marina, North Falmouth, Massachusetts
Heather called this morning and invited us to come watch the Patriot’s football game with the boys. Sam and Jonah were really hyped about the game and Heather made t-shirts for them that looked better than any I saw in the stores. The Patriots couldn’t pull this one off and Sam was very disappointed. But it helped when he listened to what Tom Brady said in the Post Game Show. Basically he praised the Broncos and their quarterback and simply stated that both teams are great but today the Broncos outplayed the Patriots. That made sense to Sam so he got over his sadness. None of us really follow football, but the elementary school Sam attends had a special Patriots Day on Friday and that got him into the spirit.
Heather and Jed had a party to attend this evening and had to leave home at 5 pm before the game was over. Sam and Jonah wanted to stay and watch the rest of the game, so we kept all three boys, watched the end of the game, ate dinner, and then headed to Windbird. Sam and Jonah are sleeping over and H & J picked Ollie up on their way home from the party. So I had better get to bed so I’ll have the energy to deal with two boys in the morning. They rise early and play hard!
