Day 282, Year 9: Happy, Happy Birthday to Coco

Location: Back Home on Windbird in Quissett Harbor, Massachusetts
We’re back home on Windbird and are sending happy, happy birthday wishes to Coco. She turned two today and had a wonderful birthday party back at the pirate camp in Puerto Rico. We talked to her on the phone this evening. At first she was just very quiet, but then she started talking and talking and talking, telling us everything about her birthday.
The other two year-old in our lives, Mr. Oliver, didn’t have a birthday today, but he did talk all the way from Williamsburg to Cape Cod. He was talking to entertain himself on the 13.5 hour drive home. It was long, but all three boys had a good day. We left Williamsburg at 6:15 this morning and arrived at Heather and Jed’s at 7:45 this evening. We are all exhausted, but we had such a wonderful time together with family in Williamsburg that it makes it all worth it. Tomorrow life goes back to normal, but we’ll move forward with wonderful memories of a fantastic family reunion.
