For the first time in more than seven years, things have finally slowed down enough that both Mark and I are catching up on jobs that needed to be done long, long ago. I completed editing and naming photos from the beginning of our voyage and got those uploaded to the internet today. That felt so good. The photos from the rest of Year 1 are already named, but in the wrong format. So I need to do some adjusting and get those uploaded, but that is not nearly as difficult as trying to go back and remember enough details to actually name the photos. Since our arrival in St. Martin in December of 2005, I have been religious about getting photos edited and named in a timely fashion. And now I know why. The option is just too painful.

We are continuing our promise to take long walks each day. And Mark is making progress on his search for a general manager. He takes breaks here and there and does a little boat project, so he is getting caught up as well. I had to spend two hours of my day waiting in a doctor’s office. When we got on the plane to return to Myrtle Beach from Boston, I noticed that the upper part of my left arm was aching. That has continued and not gotten one bit better, so after two weeks, I decided it was time to have it checked out. The doctor thinks I somehow pulled or strained something in my triceps and he thinks a six-day regimen of a steroid will fix the problem. He also put me on an antibiotic for a persistent sinus infection. I guess we’ll know in six days if any of the medication has done its job.
