Day 63, Year 8: Relaxing with the Grandkids

Location: Visiting with Heather and Jed, East Falmouth, MA
This was one of those rare days when we did nothing but enjoy being with the grandkids. We always enjoy being with them, but today was dedicated to them. We went to the library and to their favorite playground and then came home for lunch. Mid-afternoon Jed went to see The Hobbit. Giving him the time to do this was one of his birthday presents from Heather, and there just wasn’t time to go until today. The boys had been promised that when daddy went to the movie, we would all get to watch a movie at the Goldstone Cinema. Madagascar 3 was playing here today with popcorn for all. While granddad watched the movie with the boys, Heather and I made pizza for dinner. And after dinner we baked chocolate chip cookies and read more of those books that we checked out of the library. It was just a nice and easy day.
