Day 60, Year 8: Baby, It’s Cold Outside
Date: Wednesday, January 2, 2013
Weather: Partly Sunny and Cold
Location: Visiting with Candi and Char Todd, Billerica, MA

Today and tonight are the coldest we have experienced this winter. The high temp didn’t get out of the 20’s F today and tonight it will get down to about 10 degrees F. Brrrrr . . . But we are toasty warm here at my niece’s home near Boston. We had a wonderful dinner and visit tonight with Candi and Char, their two daughters and one granddaughter, and Candi’s step-brother, Brad. We arrived here from the Cape at 6 pm and I promptly locked the car keys in the car. I had them in my hand while picking up things to carry inside that were in the backseat of the car and accidentally dropped them. As soon as I shut the door, I felt for the keys and they weren’t there. Bummer. Thankfully, Char had a magic way of retrieving the keys. So thank you, Char. And thanks to Candi and Char for the delicious dinner.

Our morning was spent helping Heather finish off the painting of the kitchen walls. I ‘think’ the renovation projects are completed for now, but I did hear Heather saying that she would love the change the color of the walls in the bathroom. So who knows what the weekend will bring.

We are getting an earlier start tomorrow morning than previously planned. We are taking advantage of being in Boston by taking the car in for repairs that we hope will allow us to get it inspected. Then it is on to Mass General for Mark’s testing.
