Day 211, Year 8: More of the Same
Date: Sunday, June 2, 2013
Weather: Yet Another Beautiful Day, High Upper 60’s F, Windy
Location: Eel Pond, Woods Hole, Massachusetts
Today was another work day for Mark and another gardening day for me. Last night’s forecast indicated that it would be cloudy today with possible rain, but instead it was another Cape Cod beautiful day. It did get windier as the day progressed, and by this evening in Eel Pond we were getting gusts to 30 knots. It has settled down a bit now, but we are still enjoying the extra power boost from the wind generator.
Heather, Jed, and boys got home from their weekend in New Hampshire late this afternoon. The temperature in NH this weekend was in the 90’s, but they had a great time despite the heat. And tonight we talked to Justin, Jo, Ziggy, and Coco on Skype. They have decided to leave New Mexico and move to the island of Culebra in Puerto Rico in the fall after they get home from their summer in England. So they are busy, busy getting everything packed up. They fly here on the 4th of July and spend a week on their way to England, so in just a month we get to see them. Can’t wait.
