Day 143, Year 8: Holding Pattern

Location: At Home with Patsy and Joe, Calabash, NC
We’re kind of stuck. Patsy’s situation is certainly getting no worse, but it is not significantly improving. By that I mean the swelling in her feet and legs is not going away and she is still not able to eat normally. Tomorrow she goes to her primary care physician in Myrtle Beach and on Thursday she returns to Charleston for her post-op appointment with the surgeon. Hopefully between these two visits we will get some direction as to where to go from here. But in the meantime, we are just thankful that we are in a holding pattern and not going backwards.
