Day 141, Year 8: Janet Arrives

There is good news today. Patsy and Joe’s youngest daughter, Janet, arrived for a three-day visit and Patsy is feeling much better. We called Patsy’s primary care physician this morning to beg permission to stop taking the antibiotic for the pneumonia that we don’t think she has—and the doctor agreed. Patsy started taking Zithromax on Friday and it has made her very sick. She didn’t take it this afternoon, and she seems so much better. So hopefully she will get a good night’s sleep and will feel like eating tomorrow. Then we can celebrate!
