Day 137, Year 8: Patsy is Home

Weather: Party Sunny, but Temperature Dropping
Location: At Home with Patsy and Joe, Calabash, NC
I’ll start on a bit of a sour note by saying “Happy not-so Spring.” The temperature was 10 degrees cooler today than yesterday and will be an additional 10 degrees cooler tomorrow. So the calendar might say it is spring, but the weather defies that. Now with that out of the way, I can say with great excitement that Patsy is home. She is feeling good and is so glad to be home. And we are so glad she is here. Mark and I will spend the next few days here doing whatever we can to help Patsy along the road to recovery. Cooking is the biggest chore, trying to find things that are healthy and will put a bit of weight back on her without fattening the rest of us. That we don’t need!! But in the interest of Patsy’s health, I made a banana cream pie today with a meringue topping.
