Day 135, Year 8: Good News

It’s always nice to convey good news and tonight I am so happy to report that Patsy’s situation improved considerably today. Her ‘plumbing’ has awakened and she is slowly starting to take in liquids. The progress was a little slower today than we expected, but there is definite progress. Today she was up walking around, working crosswords puzzles, and reading email messages on her computer. She is still on an IV and still has the stomach tube in place, but we are keeping the hope that she will be home on Wednesday. So life is good here in Calabash and will be perfect once Patsy and Joe are home.
