Day 109, Year 8: A Computer Kind of Day
Date: Wednesday, February 20, 2013
Weather: Sunny but Still on the Cool Side
Location: Lightkeepers Marina in Coquina Harbor, Little River, SC
It was one of those days when Mark and I were on our respective computers continually. I worked all day to try and name all the photos that Joe scanned in while we were in Florida, but I only made it through half of them. Mark did our taxes on the computer in the morning and in the afternoon he worked with Joe to set up a new computer for my sister Patsy. She went to the beauty shop to get a permanent and while she was gone, her new computer (a surprise for her) arrived. So Mark and Joe worked quickly to get it ready for her to use when she got home. Joe and I are looking forward to spring. We took time out to go to the local hardware and a store that sells bird houses. We got some seeds to plant as soon as these cold nights warm a bit and looked into buying a second blue bird house. There are so many bluebirds in the backyard and they all appear to be vying for the same house, so I think a second one would be appreciated. Joe made another loaf of bread in his new breadmaker today. This time he tried a white bread and once again he was successful. Thanks, Marte, for sending your recommendations for breadmaking. Two heads are always better than one and advice from King Arthur is always a good thing.
