Day 316, Year 7: Fall is in the Air
Date: Wednesday, September 19, 2012
Weather: Heavy Rain Overnight, Clearing in the Morning
Location: Eel Pond, Woods Hole, Massachusetts

The weather forecast for today didn’t look good, but it ended up being
another beautiful day. We have had the most incredible summer weather, but
now the days and nights are both cooling down a bit. You can definitely
feel fall in the air. Carl and Matt emailed that they enjoyed this lovely
day sailing in Buzzard’s Bay. They ended their day at the East end of the
Cape Cod Canal and will buck the NE winds tomorrow to Gloucester. Mark
worked at West Marine today and I spent my day with Oliver while Heather
went to work. Actually I was only alone with Oliver in the morning as
Heather came home before noon. We then spent the afternoon getting laundry
folded and put away and playing with Oliver. He needs a little support, but
with that support he loves to sit up and play. He also loves rolling around
on the floor and he can travel great distances. He giggles and squeals and
‘talks’ on and on. Mark and I didn’t get to spend time with the other
grandchildren at this age. We were with Sam and Ziggy for their first month
and Jonah for his first three months, so we are thoroughly enjoying an
almost six month-old Oliver. He is one happy, beautiful baby. And we are
anxiously awaiting our meeting with Lady Coco. She will be almost three
months old when she arrives here in late October. It is going to be so much
fun to watch the little ‘cousins’ as they play together.
