Day 277, Year 6 So Little Time
Date: Thursday, July 28, 2011
Weather: Sunny Morning, Partly Sunny Afternoon, Mid-70’s
Location: Eel Pond, Woods Hole, Massachusetts
When there are little ones around, it’s almost impossible to have time to just chill out and relax with your adult kids. That can only happen once the little ones are in bed, and then the adults are too worn out to think straight. So the time together with our kids is ticking away quickly. Mark and I did get to go for a walk with Ziggy and Jo today and then in the afternoon, Mark watched all three little ones after nap so I could fix dinner and do laundry. Mark has to work all day tomorrow and Heather has to work for a couple of hours in the early morning, but then the rest of us should be able to spend the day together. We’re not sure what we are going to do. I think that will depend on the weather. If it is hot and sunny, I think it will be a beach day. But if the weather forecast of stormy weather prevails, we might have to have indoor day. We are hoping to sail to Martha’s Vineyard on Saturday, but that too is weather dependent. Right now it looks like it could be one of those VERY foggy days. If that’s the case, we won’t venture out into Vineyard Sound with all the ferry traffic in the fog. Whatever we decide to do, I can tell already that there just won’t be enough time to do all the visiting we would like. The one thing I do know is that Sam, Jonah, and Ziggy are the absolute cutest little guys in the world.
