Day 25, Year 10: Refrigeration Restored
Date: Tuesday, November 4, 2014
Weather: Sunny and 70’s F
Location: R Dock, Lightkeepers Marina, Little River, SC

My vote goes to refrigeration on this Election Day. Our refrigeration unit is once again running without having to replace any parts. The problem was a blockage in the lines and with the right equipment, the blockage was cleared. Happy, happy. I spent the day at Patsy and Joe’s and Mark joined me once the refrigeration was repaired. I seemed to somehow cook my day away but I now have a double-batch of chicken mineral broth canned. My next project will be getting enough granola made to carry us through the next couple of months. Mark got the new hand rail in Patsy and Joe’s garage painted with primer and he did a lot of navigation planning for the trip south. We stayed at Patsy and Joe’s to watch election returns, but as expected those returns are coming in slowly. So we decided to call it a night and return to Windbird. Tomorrow is a boat day. Mark has done a lot of planning for the trip to Florida on his computer, but now I need to research to make sure what he is planning is going to work for a boat with our 6-ft+ draft. Mark and Lee Kaufman are going to do some shopping for boat parts and then come back and work on boat projects.
