Day 21, Year 10: Happy Halloween

Weather: Sunny with Temp in the Low-70’s F; Temp Dropping Tonight
Location: R Dock, Lightkeepers Marina, Little River, SC
Hope you got treats, not tricks, on this Halloween night. We went to a retirement party for a Sail and Power Squadron friend and the hosts were in costume. That is the only evidence we saw today that indicated that it is Halloween. We don’t see many children here as we are in the land of retirees, but we are hoping to see photos of our grandchildren in costumes soon. Sure hope they had a fun night.
Good news today . . . my brother-in-law Joe is feeling better, Patsy and Joe’s back deck is painted, and the front porch is clean. So we ended the week and the month on a positive note. The bad news . . . cold weather is coming. It must be time to head further south, but we can’t do that for a few weeks yet. So we have electric heaters ready to plug in if it gets too chilly on Windbird.
