Day 121, Year 10: Funday Sunday with Mark’s Family
Date: Sunday, February 8, 2015
Weather: Partly Sunny, High Temp 80 degrees F
Location: At Home with Mary Ellen and Lee French in Bonita Springs, FL

Today was what I call a ‘Funday Sunday’. Mark’s brother Steve arrived very early and he and Mark drove back to Fort Myers Beach to get some things from the boat that we had forgotten. This meant that Lee of Sea Turtle had to come in to get them. Mark took the time to run the engine to charge the batteries a bit and then Lee brought them back to shore. Thanks, Lee. We really appreciate the rides to and from Windbird. By mid-day Mark’s family had gathered—his brother Steve and his daughter Kristi and her family, his sister Jeanie and her significant other Tom and son Jimmy, and Mary Ellen and Lee and their son Danny and his significant other Linda. Steve’s daughter Kristi has two little boys, Hayden age 7 and Caleb age 4. Hayden and I talked about robots and the tablet game, Mine Craft. And we all ate and ate and ate. Then the guys played ball in the pool. It was just a relaxed, fun day with family that we don’t get to see very often. Tomorrow Mark’s brother Steve and sister Jeanie will come back to spend the day with us. Steve will spend the night and on Tuesday morning we’ll head to his place. Then on Wednesday we drive to Fort Lauderdale for Mark’s cancer treatment. Once we return from that we have to start planning the return trip to the East Coast. Time flies when you’re having fun.
