2025 Life Logs, Day 277: Saturday Rally on the Green and FHS Saturday Soccer
Date: Saturday, October 4, 2025
Weather: Sunny, Warmer; High Temp 73, Low 55 degrees F
Location: At Home on Lakeview Avenue with My Shadow, Falmouth, MA

Now that I am involved in the leadership of Indivisible Falmouth, the time I spend on the Green on Saturday is longer. It ends up to be two hours instead of an hour and a half. And I spent the time prior to rally making a new sign encouraging people to stand strong on healthcare. We need to support the Democrats that are standing strong for all of us. Unfortunately, the only time I got to hold up my sign was at the end of the rally when someone wanted to take a photo of it.

I spent the entire two hours handing out flyers for the nonviolent resistance film series I have been working on for what seems an eternity. But it has come together and it is time to spread the word.

I came home and walked with Shadow, had lunch, and then headed to Falmouth High School for Jonah’s soccer game. It is Homecoming Weekend, so the team really wanted to win this one. It ended in a 0-0 tie. They did a great job on defense, and we all hoped, right up to the last minute, that they would score. But it was not to be. Still, the team seemed happy with the outcome. And it was a gorgeous afternoon for a soccer game.

I have spent this evening working on Indivisible and the film series. We have an Indivisible leadership meeting tomorrow night that I needed to prepare for and Justin had a question about the website which prompted me to update the calendar.
