2024 Life Logs, Day 249: Soccer and Pizza Dinner at the Goldstones

It was another beautiful September day. Shadow and I had our morning walk, I spent a hour or so cleaning house, and then I turned my efforts to weeding around the edges of the yard. In between all of that, I spent time dealing with my sister’s healthcare issues. I won my third appeal today. Her Medicare Advantage keeps denying coverage and I keep appealing. So far, so good. And I also had to sneak some Encore work into my day. Heather was picking up Ollie and Simon after school today, so we didn’t have our after-school visit together. But I went to Sam and Jonah’s afterschool home soccer game. After that it was back home to play ball with Shadow and then to the Goldstones for homemade pizza for dinner. Tomorrow is Heather and Jed’s 21st wedding anniversary. They are going out to dinner, so I will go over after school and fix dinner for the boys.
