2023 Life Logs, Day 195: Same, Same

Location: At Home on Lakeview Avenue, Falmouth, MA
Today was more moving activity and hanging out with Ollie in the afternoon. Even though it was pouring rain, I went to the cottage this morning to disassemble the last raised bed and to get the shuffleboard table in the basement ready for pick up. The people that own a local pizza place are taking it. It was too rainy for them to pick it up today, so Heather, Jed, and Sam will help them in the morning. Heather knows them from the days that their children were at East Falmouth Elementary. I think just the couple was coming this morning and my memory is that it is just heavy for two people to handle. It will be good for them to have the extra help. While I was at the cottage, I tried to assess what else needs to be moved out of the basement. If things work out right, Heather and gang might be able to help me with some of that tomorrow morning.
Since it was raining, I picked Ollie up from his last day of pottery camp. We came home and had lunch and he spent the afternoon finishing the assembly of a Lego Technics fancy car.
I slipped away for half an hour mid-afternoon to attend a planning meeting of a new Newcomers/Encore activity group focused on Wellness. I apologized for staying only a bit, but it was long enough for me to give some input and to know that I really want to join this group of like-minded women.
