2023 Life Logs, Day 176: The Move Continues
Date: Sunday, June 25, 2023
Weather: Partly Sunny; High 75, Low 64 degrees F
Location: At Home in the Cottage, East Falmouth, MA

I got up at 23 Debbie Lane this morning and am going to bed at 225 Lakeview tonight. There is so much more to do, but I am just going to do a little each day. I am loving the new house. It is full of boxes right now, but hopefully by the end of the week, most things will be put away and I can start living a normal life again. I can’t remember the last time I took my vitamins, rode my exercise bike, cooked a healthy meal, or took Shadow for a nice long walk. We walk a quarter mile twice a day, but that has been it for the past two weeks.

Heather helped me move all of my clothes out of the closets in the cottage today and hung up in the new house. And she got my internet connected. Then she went to the beach to pick up Jonah and Ollie who had gone with the Keefe’s and I drove to Sandwich to have Happy Hour with my good friend Detta Porat and her life-long best friend. Detta and Diane have been friends since they were two years old. Diane is in an Air BnB for the week and Detta joined her for the first three days. On Tuesday morning, Detta will come to help me get the kitchen and pantry moved and put away.

I left Sandwich and headed back to Falmouth to attend the birthday dinner for Jonah. And then it was home to sleep in the house on Lakeview for the first time.
