2022 Life Logs, Day 232: All About Tomatoes

Location: At Home in the Cottage, East Falmouth, MA
Today was all about tomatoes. I went to Heather and Jed’s this morning where I worked to get the second half of the 50 pounds of tomatoes blanched, peeled, and deseeded while Heather chopped onions, celery, carrots, and garlic, sauteed the veggies and added the spices. Heather kept half the mix to let it burble all afternoon to turn it into pizza sauce. I took the other half home with me to burble into marinara sauce. Tomorrow will be canning day. Then we will be ready to do it all over again when the next batch of tomatoes come our way.
