2022 Life Logs, Day 111: Ride ‘em Cowboys
Date: Thursday, April 21, 2022
Weather: Sunny with Intermittent Rain; High 86, Low 71 degrees F
Location: At Home in an Airbnb in Rincon, Puerto Rico
What a wonderful family vacation week we are having here in Puerto Rico. Being together with my whole family is so very special, and we have managed to pack in some wonderful experiences together. The Falmouth grandchildren have been introduced to the home of their cousins here in Puerto Rico, Uncle Justin gave Sam an introductory surfing experience, Heather, Jed, and I had an incredible snorkel at Steps Beach, we all visited the Gonzalandia Waterfalls where the more adventuresome jumped into the water from the rock cliffs, and today we went horseback riding along the beach and through beach almond and Australian pine forests.
And every day, we have enjoyed trips to the beach and the pool right outside the back door of our Airbnb. After our horseback riding adventure in Isabella, we returned to Rincon to have a fabulous dinner at Cowboys. And it really was fabulous. A number of us agreed that it might be one to the top meals we have ever had in a restaurant.
Tomorrow’s snorkeling and bioluminescent bay trip might get cancelled due to rain, but if so, we will just find another way to enjoy our last bit of time together.
