2019 Life Logs, Day 259: Free and Easy Day

Location: At Home in the Cottage, East Falmouth, MA
This was a free and easy day for me. I went to the gym this morning for a pilates class for the first time in months. And I could certainly feel that I am out of shape. But I made it through it and then stopped by the Baranowski’s on the way home to measure some furniture that I am going to be the lucky recipient of tomorrow. Karen and Peter are getting new living room furniture that is being delivered on Thursday and they offered their beautiful leather sofa and loveseat to me. I had hoped to move my sofa into the smallest bedroom that Ollie claims as his, but it just won’t fit. And it is too big to put in the basement, so I need to quickly find a new home for it. But I decided to worry about that tomorrow. When I got home, I decided to head down to the dock to enjoy the intermittent sunshine and ended up falling asleep for a little nap as it is so peaceful by the water. I then had lunch and managed to putter away the rest of the day. It was delightful. Hopefully I’ll be more productive tomorrow, but I figure everyone deserves a day off once in a while and today was mine.
