2017 Life Logs, Day 35: Just a Day, but a Good One
Date: Saturday, February 4, 2017
Weather: Partly Sunny; High Temp 33, Low 25 degrees F
Location: At Home in The Studio, Falmouth, NH

Today was one of those days when there is not a lot to report. So I looked back through my photos for the past twelve years to see what I was doing on this day through time. I thought maybe I could share some exciting things from the past. But what I found was that I don’t have photo albums for most February 4ths, and when I do, they are not something that anyone needs to see. I was in some interesting places on this date, but not doing something interesting enough to take photos. Evidently February 4 is not a big day in my life . . . just a day.

I should have started my morning with a Zumba class, but I have once again done something to my knee and thought it best not to further aggravate it. So I stayed home. Even though I say I don’t love it, I am going to miss going to the gym for the next five weeks. But hopefully I will find other ways to exercise. I did a few things around the apartment, ran some errands, and then went to Heather and Jed’s. I had hoped to work on organizing storage in the basement, but Jed was working on re-wiring. The light in the laundry room stopped working last week and it is not a problem with the fixture or the light bulb. There is a problem with the wiring and Jed is really struggling to track down the problem. So it was best to stay out of the basement today. Instead, I worked with Heather to do a total clean-out of the refrigerator and other such exciting jobs. I had planned to come home for dinner, but Sam asked me to stay, so I did. As he gets closer to those teen years, I can imagine a time when asking his grandmother to stay for dinner won’t be a priority, so I shall take advantage of any such invitations between now and then. Jed made calzones that were delicious and the boys put on a pre-dinner dance show that was most entertaining! I was really glad I stayed. Tomorrow I will return for Super Bowl Sunday and then Monday morning I’ll be headed to Puerto Rico.
