2017 Life Logs, Day 302: Clams and Soccer . . . Again
Date: Sunday, October 29, 2017
Weather: Pouring Rain Tonight; High 65, Low 59 degrees F
Location: At Home in The Studio, Falmouth, MA
Today was a repeat of yesterday, of sorts. Instead of digging clams, this evening Heather and Jed invited me to dinner and we ate the clams I got yesterday. Earlier in the afternoon, I went to another soccer game. Today’s game was Sam’s last soccer game of the fall season, so now, no more soccer until spring. If I back up until morning, I watched some of the Cleveland Browns versus the Minnesota Vikings football game that was played in London, England. My good friend Olivia White is a die-hard Cleveland Browns football fan and flew to London for the game. I watched in her honor, but not surprisingly, the Browns lost.
That was pretty much my day. Tomorrow morning I have to drive to Hyannis to report for jury duty at 8:30 am. I have never been called to serve on jury duty before, so I have no way of knowing what it will be like. I am a bit nervous about it because it will mean that I can’t answer my phone if Justin calls and needs something. Tomorrow he had hoped to return to the Maximo Solar to discuss different options and I have so many things I want to convey to him about that. Hopefully either Barnstable County won’t really need me on jury duty or Justin will call when I am on a break. Somehow, we’ll figure it out.
