2023 Life Logs, Day 97: Happy 14th Birthday to Ziggy

Fourteen years ago today, Ziggy Milo Handley entered this world in Sante Fe, New Mexico,

but has lived a majority of his fourteen years in Puerto Rico. We are not together on his birthdays, but we always connect on Skype video and celebrate that way. I find it almost unbelievable that fourteen years have passed since I first held Ziggy, but the calendar doesn’t lie. Happy birthday, Ziggy! I feel so blessed to be able to be able to watch as my grandchildren grow up.

And tonight, I was invited to a Seder with my Cape Cod grandchildren. Wednesday night was Passover, but having a Seder on a school night was more than could be handled this year with everyone’s busy schedules. Tonight was perfect and now we launch into a busy weekend.
