2022 Life Logs, Day 234: Jonah and Ollie Overnight

Weather: Overcast with Some Rain; High 74, Low 69 degrees
Location: At Home in the Cottage, East Falmouth, MA
Jonah and Ollie wanted to come over early today so they could play with Charlie next door and his friends who were visiting from New York. But the couple with two boys left early this morning, so it was just Charlie, Jonah, and Charlie’s friend TJ. They watched the 3 pm soccer match between Manchester United and Liverpool and Ollie played with Charlie’s little sister, Lena. I canned marinara sauce and made Toll House squares as a snack for the boys. Near the end of the soccer game, Andrew came over to watch the final few minutes and later Lara came over. We had a nice visit while the kids went outside to play. I rushed to get J and O home as it was almost 6:30, but just as we were getting in the car, they announced they wanted to spend the night. Okay, then. We went to get clothes and came back here for dinner. Heather is alone tonight as Jed and Sam are in Maine working on the boat. I hope she is enjoying her alone time as she doesn’t get much of that. We have no plans for tomorrow. We’ll just see where the day leads us.
