2019 Life Logs, Day 167: Father’s Day & Falmouth Flag Day Race
Date: Sunday, June 16, 2019
Weather: Overcast, Windy, with a Little Rain; High 71, Low 61 degrees
Location: At Home in the Cottage, East Falmouth, MA

Happy Father’s Day to all fathers out there, but especially to my two favorite fathers, my son Justin and my son-in-law Jed! I don’t have a photo of Justin with Ziggy and Coco from today, but I did manage to get one of Jed with the Goldpebbles.

It was another race day here . . . the Falmouth Flag Day 5K Race/Walk. Jed and Ollie ran as a father-son team and Jonah ran with Heather. Sam sat this one out, but he took my phone and got some great photos. We stayed for the awards ceremony and were so proud that Jonah won second place in his age group. And then he won the top raffle prize or two great seats at a Boston Red Sox game in August. We ended the day with a sushi dinner to celebrate Father’s Day and to celebrate the running Goldstones. Tomorrow is the last day of school and Camp Oma begins on Tuesday. Summer is here!
