2017 Life Logs, Day 218: Inch by Inch
Date: Sunday, August 6, 2017
Weather: Sunny; High 78, Low 62 degrees F
Location: At Home in The Studio, Falmouth, MA
I pretended to be a snail today and made very slow progress on all those catch-up jobs. It reminded me of Pete Seeger’s Garden Song, Inch by Inch. “Inch by inch, row by row, gonna make this garden grow . . .” I went grocery shopping, did some cooking for the week, and volunteered to do laundry for Heather and Jed. Their washing machine is only a couple of years old, but right now it washes, but stops during the spin cycle and leaves the clothes soppy wet. While living on the boat, I certainly used their washer and dryer enough, so today was a little repayment. Tomorrow it is back to Camp Oma and next Saturday the Goldstones leave for Sweden and I am driving to Nyack, NY, to visit with friends Ed and Lynne. So no more playing catch-up until sometime next week.
