2017 Life Logs, Day 211: Happy 5th Birthday to Coco
Date: Sunday, July 30, 2017
Weather: Overcast; High 75, Low 57 degrees F
Location: At Home in The Studio, Falmouth, MA

After four boy grandchildren, along came the one and only Coco. She turned five today and if I had to pick one word to describe her, it would be spirited. She has a spark in those eyes and a smile that just doesn’t quit. And she’s been this way since birth.

I got to see Coco and Ziggy via Skype video this evening after Coco’s birthday party. We had a family birthday party in West Virginia and then Coco had a party with her family in England. Today she had a party with her friends in Puerto Rico and my gifts to her will arrive tomorrow, so she will have yet another birthday celebration. Happy birthday, Coco!

I went for an early morning bike ride with the Newcomers biking group, went to the grocery store, and then came home and spent a quiet day cooking and making a little progress on editing and organizing photos. I am months behind now, but once the summer is over, I’ll have time to catch up. Tomorrow morning it is back to the beach for swim lessons for the Goldpebbles. The weather was beautiful today and is supposed to be that way all week, so Camp Oma will focus on beach activities.
